Racquel, aka Rocky, is the founder of Mothers Fighting For Others. Born and raised in Southern California, her first job is to protect, love and care for her six children and her amazing husband. In her “spare” time, she runs off to Kenya a few times a year to protect, love and care for her other fifty-plus Kenyan daughters at Saint Monica’s Children’s Home outside of Nairobi. In addition to serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors here at Mothers Fighting For Others, Jeff is currently the President of RealSatisfied, a customer satisfaction platform built specifically for the real estate industry. He is also on the Board of Directors for Aumnia, Inc., a full service provider of mobile web solutions.
As founder and CEO, Jeff led his former company, J.J. Grace to Inc. Magazine’s list of the 500 Fastest-Growing Companies in America and was at its helm when it won Cisco’s “Growing With Technology” award. After the sale of J.J. Grace to Vertis, Inc, he served as Group President for their Digital Solutions Group. He has served on the board of multiple charities and corporations.
Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grace College (Indiana) and a Master’s degree in School Psychology from Ball State University (Indiana). Jeff lives in California with his wife, Rocky, and their six children.
Desiree has always been the one to quietly help others. Although known for her outspoken, forward personality, it is her subdued approach which has led her down her happiest paths of life. A consistent top producer in the real estate industry since 1993, Desiree has worked in her family owned business Re/Max Tri County in New Jersey. Her clients appreciate her take charge attitude and determination to get the job done. She loves helping others achieve their dreams of home ownership. Helping clients continues to inspire her and keep her ranked one of the most successful real estate teams in New Jersey.
Having met Jeff & Rocky in the blogging world, Desiree felt an almost immediate connection and desire to help. Desiree looks forward to taking her strong commitment and passion for fund raising to the international level by helping accomplish the goals of MFFO. She loves the idea that one person CAN make a difference and has seen that first hand with MFFO.
Audrey is dedicated to helping and protecting her family and others. This has led to her successful career as a REALTOR in Maryland since 1988. She takes pride in her ability to help both first-time homebuyers and returning clients find the home of their dreams.
Audrey’s attention turned to helping Saint Monica’s in Kenya after meeting Rocky in 2008 and personally donating to MFFO. She and her husband, Mike, have hosted the annual Gift of Education Fundraiser since 2009.
Since grade school, Ashley has always had a dream to work with orphanages around the world. The daughter of two Air Force parents, she is not unfamiliar with traveling. In 2008, her journeys led her to Kenya for the first time. While there, she volunteered at an orphanage called St. Monicas Children’s Home and realized first hand the great need the world has for people committed to helping children in need.
Ashley invests time as a peer counselor to others struggling with suicidal ideology, eating disorders, and various post-traumatic issues. Ashley has worked in the Film Industry for 9 years and is currently pursuing her dream in music. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
Juli, a mother of two boys, was thrilled on her first visit to volunteer in Kenya to find out that it was at an all girls home. In 2007, Juli traveled to Kenya with Racquel to St. Monica’s Childrens Home where they both fell in love with the girls. Juli has since been back three times and has sponsored Teresia since she was in elementary school. She is proud to say, Teresia will be graduating late 2015.
Volunteering is an important part of Juli’s life. She served for three years as Vice President and President of Scottsdale Arcadia Soccer Youth Club, McCormick Ranch Little League for 2 years, and volunteered for 3 years at Crisis Nursery in Phoenix, the Valley’s longest-serving Children’s Shelter that provides a safe haven for children threatened with abuse and neglect. Juli has also been an integral part of creating and serving on the board for Bikers 4 Boobies 501(c)3, which is one of the largest Charity Motorcycle Runs in Arizona. Juli joined the Board and serves as Secretary for MFFO since January 2015.
Juli works as a Customer Service and Tech Support manager for RealSatisfied, and Real Estate Shows. Juli also does Graphic design projects and is mastering her skills as a professional photographer through her company PhotoPizzazz.
