Words of Wisdom

There are times when we all need a little encouragement. There are times when we all wonder why we should even bother. There are times when we all feel insignificant. And there are times when we just shrug our shoulders and want to give up, to throw in the towel.

These are times when I think a few very wise, and very inspirational words mean much. All of these quotes are from one woman – one woman who did so much for so many, and yet was so humble in her own life. Mother Teresa.

“Do not think that love, in order to be genuine, has to be extraordinary. What we need is to love without getting tired.”

“Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person.”

“I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.”

“If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.”

“In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love.”

“It is not the magnitude of our actions, but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.”

“We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.”

Thank you for being one of the many drops!

Roxy, that was a great reminder of the great things that can be accomplished with the smallest acts of kindness.

    Welcome aboard!
