#GivingTuesday is one of the biggest fundraisers we participate in to help support our work in Kenya!
Mothers Fighting For Others, MFFO.org, is a small grassroots non profit that was started in 2009 to support and educated orphaned girls in Kenya! We are small but we are mighty! 96% of our girls in our program have graduated from high school! This is a huge success as the education system in Kenya is mostly private boarding schools. If a child does not have the means to attend school quite often they will not complete a high school degree. This is especially difficult for girls around the globe. So far the girls that have graduated from high school 70% have completed a college/university degree and 24% of the high school graduates are currently in college working on their degrees.
We still have girls in high school working towards their high school diplomas. On this #GivingTuesday, we humbly ask you to support our continued work of educating orphaned girls! Any amount, no matter how small, makes a difference in the lives of our girls.
Empowering vulnerable girls will change the dynamics of their local communities and give them the education to get jobs to support themselves to break the cycle of poverty.
